WALA: the Waitangi Wetlands. In our Inquiry groups we had to research an animal, plant or insect. We had to find out if the Waitangi Wetlands is a good place for it to live and grow.
We also had to create a way of showing our learning. Here is a video of how we presented our findings.
Walk: the setting, plot and characters. We have created a setting using sock puppets and recorded what the characters said. We are able to summarise a range of texts.
Next step: understand more challenging vocabulary.
This Term we are learning all about being RESPONSIBLE. We have been talking about different ways we can be responsible at home and at school. In this activity are just some ways of how I show responsibility.
